HOW WE HANDLE YOUR DATA

Six Areas Where We Keep You Protected

We have structured our data and security practices around what account holders in India reasonably expect: clear retention windows, secure storage, and a straightforward way to request changes or deletion.

Data Collection Scope

We collect only what is necessary to operate your account — registration details, payment references for UPI, Paytm or PhonePe transactions, and session logs. We do not collect data beyond what account operation and legal compliance require.

Cookie Policy

Cookies on dpboss fall into three categories: essential session cookies, analytics cookies that measure page performance, and preference cookies that remember your lobby settings. You can adjust non-essential cookies at any time from your browser settings.

Account Security Practices

All account data is stored with encryption at rest. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We enforce session expiry after periods of inactivity and flag logins from unrecognised devices for a secondary verification step.

Retention Periods

Transaction and account records are retained for the period required by applicable Indian financial regulations. Once that period ends, personal data not required for ongoing legal obligations is deleted or anonymised within 30 days.

Your Right to Request Changes

You can request a copy of the data we hold, ask us to correct inaccuracies, or initiate a deletion request via the message centre. We action valid requests within five working days and confirm completion by email.

Dispute and Escalation Path

If our legal or support team does not resolve your concern to your satisfaction, you have the right to escalate in writing. We will provide a final written response within ten working days and direct you to the appropriate external body if needed.

What Account Holders Ask About These Terms

Below are the questions we receive most often about our legal terms, your account rights, and how we handle data. If your question is not here, reach out through the legal contact paths listed above and we will respond within our stated window.

These terms apply to you only where your use of dpboss is permitted under local law. It is your responsibility to confirm that access is lawful in your state or region before opening or continuing to use an account.

Log in to your account, open the secure message centre, and submit a data-access request. Include your registered email and account ID. We will compile and send your data within five working days of verifying your identity.

Yes. Submit a deletion request through the message centre. We will remove personal data that is not subject to a mandatory retention period under Indian financial regulations. You will receive written confirmation once the deletion is complete.

Payment reference data linked to UPI, Paytm and PhonePe transactions is retained for the period prescribed by applicable Indian regulations. After that window closes, records are deleted or anonymised within 30 days.

Raise the dispute via email or the message centre. Our compliance team reviews the matter and provides a written response within ten working days. If unresolved, we will direct you to the appropriate external body for further escalation.

We use essential session cookies that cannot be disabled, analytics cookies to measure page performance, and preference cookies that save your lobby settings. You can turn off the non-essential categories from your browser's cookie controls at any time.

We publish a revision date at the top of this page whenever the terms change. Continued use of your account after the updated terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. Check this page periodically for the current version.
